How the Calculator Works
The investment calculator reads live spot prices from our pricing feed and applies the same markup used across our product range. It then identifies the best combination of products available within your budget, grouped into five package types:
- Best Value — the product with the lowest cost per gram of pure metal
- CGT-Free Coins — Royal Mint legal tender coins exempt from Capital Gains Tax
- Flexible Package — smaller denomination coins or bars for easy resale in portions
- Cheapest Coin — the lowest individual unit price among coin products
- Cheapest Bar — the lowest individual unit price among bar products
